DESCRIPTION:The Heart of Missouri Master Gardeners are hosting their 7th annual Butterfly Festival on Saturday June 22\, 2024 at Jefferson Farm and Garden\, 4800 E. New Haven Rd.\, from 10:00 to 3:00 pm.  This fun and educational event is FREE and open to the public. \nActivities include tours of the Butterfly House\, where attendees will be able to observe several varieties of butterflies in a natural setting.  The house includes native plants that serve as food sources for the butterflies\, as well as host plants for differing butterflies for egg laying. \nIn addition to the Butterfly House tours\, there will be activities for the children\, including face painting (butterflies a specialty!)\, crafts\, barn animals and of course food trucks!  There will be a pop-up Youth Farmers Market and lots of pollinator information available as well.
