DESCRIPTION:Donate to the Missouri Gift of Adoption Chapter  \nApply for Missouri Adoption Funding Assistance  \nSign Up for the Newsletter \nAbout Gift of Adoption Missouri\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou don’t have to adopt to give a child a family.  Gift of Adoption awards adoption grants to complete adoptions of children in vulnerable circumstances – giving them permanent families and the chance to thrive. \nEach year\, Gift of Adoption Missouri receives adoption funding requests from approximately 19 qualified families – representing a funding need of $95\,000. The goal of the Missouri Chapter’s all-volunteer board is to raise enough funds to help complete each of these adoptions. 100% of the money raised by the chapter is directed to uniting children with permanent families in the area. \nNationwide\, Gift of Adoption is only able to fund 2 out of 3 qualified applicants putting adoption out of reach for many families who otherwise would adopt.  Gifts of any amount make a tremendous difference in our ability to remove the financial barrier to adoption and there are many ways to give including online\, stock\, IRA and Donor Advised Funds\, give or learn more. \nAs of December 31 2024\, Gift of Adoption Missouri has awarded $360\,000 in adoption assistance grants across Missouri to complete the adoptions of 120 children. Download PDF Fact Sheet \nWays to Get Involved\n\nIf you would like to learn more and get involved locally contact  Susan Smith\, Chapter Network Officer to get connected and get started.

DESCRIPTION:12 WEEKS TO FREEDOM is a faith based addiction recovery mission located in the lower level of Friendship Baptist Church at 4500 E Liberty in Mexico Missouri. We meet every Friday night at six o’clock in the evening\, and provide Bible based tools to overcome addiction to any variety of ills which afflict members of the community in a fallen world. A meal is provided at the end of the session\, and transportation is available by calling 573-581-4038 and leaving a message.
