Wreath Laying Ceremony at General Omar Bradley Memorial

June 8 @ 11:00 am

On Saturday June 8, at 11:00 am, a wreath-laying ceremony will take place to pay tribute to General Bradley’s remarkable contributions during World War II and to honor the ultimate sacrifice of thousands of Americans. This event will take place at the War Memorial in Rothwell Park.

Following this solemn ceremony, we will be hosting a screening of the film “The Longest Day” at the historic 4th Street Theatre. In partnership with the Randolph County Historical Society, attendees will have the opportunity to view a special display of General Bradley memorabilia, providing a unique insight into the life and achievements of Moberly’s Favorite Son.

To conclude the day, we will hold a dinner fundraiser at the Moberly VFW Post 2654 to support ongoing initiatives to preserve General Bradley’s legacy and many contributions to history.
