Vélo Vino Vici is an afternoon bike/walking tour celebrating women on bikes. This event is a fun, easy, and social wine crawl for women and gender non-binary folks.
Enjoy wine tastings (including N/A options!) and small bites at stops in and around downtown Columbia in celebration of the significant role the bicycle has played in women’s empowerment and independence.
Local Motion created Vélo Vino Vici in 2016 to draw attention to the history of the bicycle as a tool for women’s liberation, and to encourage more women to ride bikes.
This event brings women and gender non-binary folks together and creates a space just for them — where they are welcomed and celebrated, and where riding a bike feels exciting and accessible. In addition to our biking groups, we also have a very strong walking group, so don’t let the bike aspect stop you from joining in!
This year, Vélo Vino Vici is on Sunday, October 19th, from 3-5:30 pm. Tickets to the event are $40, and include wine samples and small bites at each of the five stops throughout and around downtown Columbia!
