Free| Break out your white gloves and fancy hats for an old-fashioned tea party to celebrate Mothers! Enjoy sipping specialty teas and snacking on tea party themed foods while listening to Historic Sity staff speak on the history of Mother’s Day and life as a Missouri mother in years gone by. After refreshments-indulge in a game of croquet, a few minutes at the shadow puppet theatre, take photos in front of the decorative flower arbor, or take a leisurely stroll around the Governor’s Garden and Capitol grounds. |
