Save a Life: Naloxone education and distribution event to be held at The Blue Note, 17 N. 9th St., June 13

In partnership with the Boone County Overdose Response Coalition, Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services (PHHS) will be hosting Save a Life: Naloxone education and distribution event Tuesday, June 13 from 12:15 to 1 p.m. at The Blue Note, 17 N. 9th St.
Save a Life is a series of monthly, free-to-the-public events that feature education and conversation around how members in the community can help to prevent opioid overdose deaths through the use of Naloxone, also known as NARCAN® (a drug that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose). The training will include recognizing the signs of an opioid overdose as well as explanation of how to use and access NARCAN® nasal spray.
