March 9 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

11:00am – Astronomy: 3000 years of Stargazing
– Best for audiences of ages 8+
Since the beginning of time, the sky has enthralled humans. In this full-dome show, retrace the milestones of cosmic discovery from Ptolemy’s epicycle theory to The Big Bang.
From Galileo’s telescope to modern instruments used on Earth and in space, see how cutting-edge technology reveals a multi-wavelength universe of planets, star birth regions, nebulae, pulsars, black holes and galaxies.

Visit us under the dome and take home your eclipse glasses before April 8th! Crafts and activities will be available in the RBHS commons on the day of the event. Solar viewing outside, too, weather permitting! 😎☀️
Please register in advance due to limited seating to ensure your spot: https://cpsplanetarium.org/schedule
