FREE FIREWORKS SAFETY SATURDAY CLASSES @ SPIRIT OF 76 TENT IN COLUMBIA NOW

To prepare locals for safe Fourth of July and summer fireworks usage,
families are encouraged to attend a free, kid-friendly fireworks safety class held at the Spirit
of ‘76 Fireworks Tent on Saturday, June 25th and Saturday, July 2nd.
Each “Fireworks Safety Saturdays” class will start at 11am. Attendees will learn the basics
of safely handling fireworks and will leave with a complimentary goody bag of novelty items,
printed safety materials, and a pair of safety glasses. Store manager Brian from the TV ads
is hosting this free safety class and will be dressed as Uncle Sam during the event.
Families are welcome and encouraged to attend for free; no registration or purchase is
necessary. These Saturday classes are held at the Spirit of ‘76 Fireworks tent, the largest
seasonal fireworks tent in Mid-Missouri, which is now open daily through Independence
Day.
Additionally on Saturday, June 25th, families are invited back to the tent in the evening for a
free fireworks display set to a screening of Disney’s Encanto beginning at 8:30pm. The
Columbia Youth Football League will have snacks and drinks available for purchase.
