Educational event and a panel discussion

On August 25th at 7PM you are invited to Rock Bridge Church where we will view a short film “An Outrage” as an educational event. We will have a panel discussion about lynching.
The Community Remembrance Project of Boone County Missouri (CRP-BC-MO) invites you to participate in our efforts to address past and present racism in our community, starting with our community’s history of racial terror lynching. We are focusing specifically on the lynchings of James Scott and George Bush.
Our Boone County group is affiliated with the CRP of Missouri, a group established by Missourians in partnership with the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) to raise public awareness, facilitate education and work toward reconciliation in coordination with communities throughout the state regarding Missouri’s history of racial injustice.
AN OUTRAGE is directed, edited, and produced by Hannah Ayers and Lance Warren, the Emmy-nominated co-directors of Field Studio. They make films at the intersection of history and social justice. Emmy nominated co directors of Field Studio.
