The Cosmopolitan Clubs of Columbia are members of Cosmopolitan International, a non-profit
organization started in 1918 in Kansas City, Missouri. The focus of Cosmopolitan Clubs is
on civic service through local community projects and initiatives and, since 1977, with a primary
mission of fighting diabetes through research, education, and treatment.
