Columbia Community Summit

Columbia residents are invited to continue shaping our city’s future at the 2026 Community Summit. Following the success of last year’s event, the Summit returns as an interactive, hands-on experience where your voice comes first. This is a drop-in event designed for residents of all ages—no long speeches, just real conversation.

Last year, hundreds of Columbia residents joined us for our first Community Summit, providing thousands of data points that helped shape our current city priorities.

We are excited to build on that momentum in 2026. Your feedback at the Summit directly impacts the City’s financial and strategic roadmap. At the 2026 event, you can help us prioritize spending for the upcoming fiscal year and see how last year’s input is being put into action through the City’s Strategic Plan. When you arrive at City Hall, you’ll find an open-house environment. You can walk through different stations at your own pace, participate in activities to rank your priorities, and talk one-on-one with City staff.
