cfGallery Exhibit: The Work of Robin Leibovich
Art is like hospitality that invites us to explore universal themes of culture, community, and faith. The cfGallery exists to foster conversations around these themes. In addition, it serves as a space for personal engagement and spiritual reflection.
We welcome collaborations with artists of diverse backgrounds in this endeavor to gain a fuller understanding of ourselves, our neighbors, and the world. We believe that the bridges we form through the arts strengthen relationships for our common good.
Our art gallery in Columbia, MO is located in the CF foyer and is open to the public during regular office hours. We also host receptions for our different shows to celebrate and honor the artists.
About the Artist: Robin Leibovich
It is my great privilege to display my work here at Christian Fellowship. My husband and I spend our formative years as new Christians here between 1981-1993.
I am an oil painter in love with color and transcendent beauty. I have always felt moved by the loveliness of flowers, lands, skies, and water. My art is a response to that passion. It it a tangible connector to the wonder of creation that I feel. Trained as an interior designer, I enjoy painting large pieces because of the impact they can have on peoples’ living spaces. Pushing the envelope where representation meets abstraction and artistic license is fun to me. Embracing “play” in regard to creating art is my method. I think the viewer can sense enjoyment that motivated a painting. My days are filled with other joys too, including riding my bike in my tree-lined Chesterfield neighborhood, hanging out with kids, grandkids, friends, and neighbors, and doing life with a sweet hubby and doggie.
I am happy to discuss my art in your space and am open to delivering it on approval before you make a purchasing decision.
