Auxvasse Lions Club Barbecue Lunch
The Auxvasse Lions Club will hold a Barbecue Lunch on June 24, 2023 at the Auxvasse Community Center. Serving will begin at 10:30 AM and continue until 1 PM. The menu consists of Pork Steak, ½ Chicken, Baked Beans, Slaw, Dessert, ice tea, lemonade and coffee. A child’s menu that includes a hot dog is also available.
The cost of the meal is $12 for adults, $6 for children 5 to 10 years old and free for children under the age of 5 years. All proceeds from the event will be used to support the Lions charitable projects in the community.
Also, the club announces September 11-16, 2023 will be the 63nd Annual Loafer’s Week in Auxvasse. Loafers Week began as a one-day event 63 years ago at the grain elevator and has grown into a week-long celebration. A noon meal will be served each day by a different organization. Card games, dominos and other board games are part of the fun each day. This all takes place at the Auxvasse Community Center located at 702 South Main Street. We invite you to come, enjoy a meal and participate in the planned activities as you LOAF IN AUXVASSE.
