The Alhonna Spring Classic Buddy Bass Tournament, held the last full weekend in March, offers a great way to start a new fishing season at Lake of the Ozarks and often occurs during the bass’s natural spawning period. Six and seven pound fish are not uncommon in this early spring tournament.
