Join us for the 9th Annual Butterfly Festival on June 13th from 9am to 2pm at Jefferson Farm and Garden in Columbia, MO. Admission and parking are free! This fun event brings together nature lovers, families and butterfly enthusiasts of all ages for a day of education, exploration, and hands-on activities. See butterflies and other pollinators on tours of the Native Butterfly House, gardens and wildflower meadow with hosts from the Heart of Missouri Master Gardeners. Learn from local experts about conservation practices and the critical roles of pollinators in supporting wildlife diversity and food production.
The Butterfly Festival includes:
- Tours of the Native Butterfly House and beautiful gardens, including All-America Display Gardens
- Kid’s crafts and opportunities to explore pollinator habitats
- Exhibits and presentations from Extension experts and local non-profit organizations
- Food vendors
- Plant sale by the Heart of Missouri Master Gardeners
