40th Annual Lessons & Carols

Join the Churchill Singers of Westminster College for the 40th Annual Festival of Lessons and Carols at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2023, in St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury, part of America’s National Churchill Museum. The College’s beloved, time-honored Lessons & Carols event is patterned after the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at King’s College, University of Cambridge, England. The service includes the reading of nine biblical scriptures that pertain to the Christmas story. Each reading is followed by a reflective carol.

In addition to the Churchill Singers, the evening will feature area musicians, members of the local community, and a number of faculty and staff members.

For those who cannot attend in person, the event will be livestreamed on Westminster’s Facebook and YouTube pages as well as the Facebook and YouTube pages of America’s National Churchill Museum.
