(VIRTUAL) Missouri Trailblazers: Laura Ingalls Wilder

Tuesday, June 15, 2021, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Please join the Missouri State Museum and the Daniel Boone Regional Library for an adult program about Laura Ingalls Wilder. Even before writing her first “Little House” book, Wilder was making contributions to educational and inspirational literature for Missouri’s farm folks. As we consider her life and work, we also see that her life as a child, teenager and adult had challenges that seemed insurmountable – just like challenges we have faced in 2020 and 2021 with the unexpected pandemic. Two favorite sayings passed down to Laura and her sisters were: “There is nothing new under the sun” and “Life goes on,” which can be said of her life and ours, too!

A registration link for this program will be added when it becomes available.
