Meeting our pastor’s weekly challenge and call to action, Jill Cook and Glenna Johnson have diligently been working on a new mission for our church. Twice Blessed was finally able to open in July and put to use our building that has set empty for years at the corner of Locust Grove and Henderson.
Twice Blessed will be a “Giving Store” furnishing clothing, toiletries, personal hygiene products, and other basic needs to our community neighbors in need. Based on Holy Scripture from Matthew 25: 36, Twice Blessed will help to provide basic needs FREE OF CHARGE for those living in society’s fringe.
