WHAT: The Lodge at Port Arrowhead Hosts Headliner: Great White
Having sold over 10 million albums, fueled by six Top 10 Billboard hits and a pair of platinum-selling albums, the “Once Bitten Twice Shy” rock band Great White have been rockin’ for 37 years and are headlining the Friday night outdoor concert at The Lodge at Port Arrowhead for the 13th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest.
“We are excited to announce a fabulous weekend of entertainment that has something for everybody,” says Mike Pagliai, Owner of the Lodge at Port Arrowhead. “In the past 8 months we have really made a commitment to putting the fun back at the Lodge at Port Arrowhead. All summer long we have had great live entertainment that both our guests and the Lake Ozark community have enjoyed immensely. Having Great White hit the stage for this year’s Annual Bikefest will undoubtedly put even more fun into the Lodge at Point Arrowhead!”
The Lodge at Port Arrowhead opened in 1965 as the Holiday Inn at Lake Ozark. It was the first large resort built on Lake Ozark and became an iconic hot spot in the popular resort town. Years later in 2016, after the property had changed hands several times, an ownership group with a strategic vision for the property purchased it closed the property for 10 months to accommodate extensive renovations.
This fall guests will see the results of the multi-million-dollar renovation completed in several phases and touched nearly every facet of the resort. Updates included extensive renovations to all of the 150 guest rooms which now feature modern lines and fresh, comfortable finishes. The Lodge at Port Arrowhead also offers a modern resort-style indoor swimming pool, fitness center, playground, patio deck with intimate fire pit for social gatherings and a meeting and event space for up to 500 people. The resort’s lakeside restaurant Fat Polly’s Pub underwent a complete overhaul and now features a rustic, yet contemporary industrial aesthetic featuring a lakefront staging area that will provide a perfect setting for Great White and the 13th Annual Bikefest.
