Fall Lake Hike
Do you enjoy walking in the crisp fall air and taking in the beautiful colors of fall leaves? Are you interested in learning about new plants and animals? If you answered “yes” to either of these questions, then join us on Saturday, Oct. 26 for a guided hike of the Loess Hills Trail.
This hike will run weather permitting. In the event of heavy rain or lightning, it will be canceled. Trail terrain is rugged with many steep hills and narrow walkways. Please wear appropriate footwear (no flip-flops) and bring and use bug spray. This event is free and open to the public.
Annie and Abel Van Meter State Park is located 12 miles north of Marshall on Highway 122. For more information about this event, call the park at 660-886-7537. Hike Time: 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
